Exterior wash & wax Mobile, St. Augustine

Washed by hand, waxed by hand.

An exterior wash and wax is the outside of the car done right: washed by hand, dried gently and waxed.

We use two buckets and clean mitts, so grit comes off the paint instead of being dragged across it.

Then we dry with soft towels and put wax or sealant on by hand, which adds gloss and helps the next wash go easier.

Because we come to you, it is easy to repeat on a regular schedule.

Jessica S put it this way: “My car is shining again!”

If the wash shows swirls or dull paint, ask about paint correction, or a ceramic coating for longer-lasting gloss. Ceramic Coating

Exterior Wash & Wax What is included

What the visit covers.

  1. Rinse before the wash

Loose sand, salt and bug residue come off first, so less grit is on the car when we wash.

  2. Two-bucket hand wash

One bucket holds the soap and one rinses the mitt, so dirt is not rubbed back onto the paint.

  3. Wheels, tires and wells

Brake dust and road film come off the wheels, and the tires get a clean dressing if you want one.

  4. Gentle towel dry

Soft drying towels lift the water off, so spots do not bake on under the Florida sun.

  5. Wax or sealant by hand

A thin coat goes on panel by panel and is buffed off by hand, for gloss and an easier next wash.

  6. Glass and finishing touches

Windows are cleaned outside, and the door jambs and trim get a quick wipe before we finish.

How a visit works Four steps

From the first text to the walk-around.

  1. 1

    Call or text

Send the year, make and model, where it is parked and when it was last washed or waxed.

  2. 2

    We set a time

We pick a day and window that works, at home or at work. Shade helps the wax go on, so mention it.

  3. 3

    Wash, dry, wax

Rinse, hand wash, towel dry, then wax goes on by hand and is buffed off panel by panel.

  4. 4

    Quick look-over

We check the finish with you and tell you honestly if the paint needs more than a wash and wax.

Is it right for you Honest answer

Best kept up wash by wash.

This suits a car with decent paint that just needs a proper clean and a layer of protection.

It is also a good fit between full details, or for a daily driver that lives outside.

If the paint looks dull or swirled, text a photo and we will tell you honestly if correction should come first.

On the coast

A car parked outside in St. Augustine picks up a salt film from the air off the ocean and the Matanzas.

Spring pine pollen and the lovebug seasons add to it, and bugs etch the paint if they sit.

Afternoon storms leave water spots, and the strong sun bakes grime on.

A regular wash and wax keeps a layer between that mess and your clear coat.

Questions Straight answers

Exterior Wash & Wax questions.

How is a hand wash different from a car wash?

We wash by hand with clean mitts and a separate rinse bucket, which is gentler than the brushes in many automatic washes.

Do you apply the wax by hand?

Yes. Wax or sealant goes on by hand, panel by panel, and is buffed off for the gloss.

Tell us if you have a preference.

How often should I wash and wax the car?

It depends on where it parks. A car outside near salt air, pollen and lovebugs needs regular care.

Tell us your routine and we will suggest a rhythm.

Can you wash the car at my work?

Yes. We are mobile and come to your home or work around St. Augustine.

Tell us where it will be parked and whether there is shade.
